Connection, even from here
Parents cannot always be beside their newborn in the NICU. Life Line is a connected-speaker project centered on that separation: giving families a way to share a familiar heartbeat and voice when they are apart.
Across software and hardware
The product brings a mobile app and a speaker together. Parents can share sound remotely, while hospital staff retain control of the system. My portfolio work on the project spans Go, C++, and ESP32 hardware.
That makes the interface larger than a screen. The experience includes the connection between devices, the sound from the speaker, and the people using the system on either end.
Built around people
The central idea is simple: help a family feel a little closer. The technical work serves that human interaction. Life Line’s public site shares the product story, introduces its founders, and provides a way to get in touch with the team.
